9 - Memorabilia Guy Brew, Keith Trett, Keith Walker and Tony Mottram: A collection of memorabilia

I was at the 1966 Final as an 8 year old with my parents and still have the programme and the rosette I wore to the game. Guy Brew

I have a framed unused ticket for the final. The story behind it is a friend on my Dad went to Wembley on the day and met up with some Germans, who had three spare tickets, face value £3/15/- and he bought them for fifteen shillings each. He used one and sold another, but couldn't get rid of the third. Hence he had it framed and has been in my bedroom cupboard ever since. Keith Trett

I have original Programmes from the '66 World Cup and a full set of 10 Tickets from all the Wembley Games (1 at White City). The whole lot which included the Final, cost £3-17sh and 6d. The Final was 10sh! My main concern when W. Germany equalised, was that the Game would go to a replay. A group of us had a Ferry booked to France the following morning. However, it all worked out OK, as there were several Germans on board, so the journey was made extra enjoyable. I consequently also have a copy of 'L'Equipe' from that Sunday, which had an in depth debate regarding the ball crossing the line. Keith Walker

A friend of ours attended the final at Wembley & brought two rosettes as a present. I also, in a loft have a Programme, World Cup Willie handkerchiefs, a World Cup Willie ball bearing toy & a Subbuteo Jules Rimet trophy. Ha, the glory days of English football. Tony Mottram

I was there in 1966 & saw all of the England matches & still have match tickets & memorabilia from the tournament. I also published a book entitled 'I was there in '66' still available from Amazon. Steve Batchelor
