9 - Memorabilia Joa Bamber and Mark Osborne: A Collection of unusual memorabilia

I have a seat from the 1966 World Cup final signed by Geoff Hurst. The programme and ticket are unfortunately just copies but I'm on the lookout for genuine replacements! It hangs in my kitchen and is a big talking point for anyone who visits. My husband was shocked when I came home with it after bidding on it at a charity cricket match (Lashings v. Rainham (Kent)). I was one of only a few women there and the only one bidding on football memorabilia. Joa Bamber

My Grandad attended the 1966 World Cup Final at Wembley and as kids we used to love looking through the match day programme. More interesting was a thin navy blue tie with the Italian FA motif embroidered on the tie. My Grandad's brother drove the team bus for the Italy team to and from Ayresome Park in Middlesbrough (our local team). There was also a match day pennant which may have been from the game between Italy and North Korea. A great story behind both items. Mark Osborne
