tricky59: 1966, a golden year for soul music

1966 - a golden year for us soul music lovers. Classic records released every week, Motown was king and in addition there were loads of other classics. Last great year for Motown really as the following year saw the departure of Holland-Dozier-Holland.

Just a few:
Four Tops - "Reach Out I'll Be There"
Supremes - "You Can't Hurry Love" "You Keep Me Hangin' On"
Temptations - "Ain't Too Proud To Beg", "Get Ready", "Beauty Is Only Skin Deep"
Junior Walker - "Road Runner"
Elgins - "Heaven Must Have Sent You"
So many, many more

A top year for parties too in what I recall as a cracking summer.
