As an eight year old lad, the first football I ever saw on TV, even before the FA Cup Final, was the 1966 World Cup. I was transfixed and loved it. I can remember it as if it was yesterday, from the Bobby Charlton goal v Mexico, the Rattin sending off and the semi-final v Portugal as well as obviously the final. No wonder I became a fan, travelling to see more than 300 England games live all over the world!
Great memories, it will never be forgotten.
