I was engaged to my husband Michael in 1966 and as well as recalling the England World Cup win I remember Twiggy being the face of '66 and mini skirts being in fashion.
We enjoyed the music of The Beach Boys, The Monkees & The Troggs. I think John Lennon met Yoko Ono that year. Sadly I also remember the Aberfan Disaster in Wales in 1966 too.
